EUS / Endoscopic Ultrasound

Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) consists of an endoscope that has a ultrasound attached to buttom end of the scope. It allows your doctor to examine the lining of the different parts of the GI tract but also to study and intervene on other organs that are near the gastrointestinal tract, including the liver, gallbladder and pancreas.
