Dr. Hepper, a native of Columbus, Ohio, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia. She attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine as a Canby Robinson Scholar and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

She furthered her training at Washington University in St. Louis, where she completed a Dermatology residency, served as Chief Resident, followed by a sub-subspecialty fellowship in Dermatopathology.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Dermatopathology and has authored numerous scientific journal articles and book chapters. Her interests include skin cancer screening and prevention in high-risk patients, medical dermatology, and dermatopathology.
